Lost on Main is general admission venue offering standing room only. We do provide first-come, first-serve seating adjacent to the stage with seats and tables.
If you are planning on a seat for the show, be sure to arrive early to snag one. Or you can reserve seating via Facebook messaging (minimum 24 hr notice). Please allow more time to ensure your request can be met.
It depends on the start time, and the number of acts on our bill. Usually, the first act goes on about 45 minutes after our doors open.
Unfortunately, no. Our liquor licence does not allow for all age events.
The longer version: I'm over 21 and have the scars to prove it. Problem is that my friend took my ID and melted it to use in an art exhibit- can I still get in to see my 2nd favorite band?
Yes, but we will need to see another form of ID. A passport is great, but if you don't have one because you do not travel might we suggest getting a passport and doing some traveling? Otherwise, you can bring a document that shows your DOB (like a birth certificate or a DMV temporary ID) but we'll need another form of ID with your name and photo on it too (Bank cards).
No, we don't. We just ask that you please wear clothes. And thanks for asking. Some nights, funk-soul, and Latin nights especially, patrons get real dressed up, and we love it as it adds to the atmosphere of the club. Feel free to express yourself!
It depends. With most bands a small camera (no flash, please) is acceptable. If you have a question whether you can use a camera at a particular show, please check with our hostess at coat check located at the front entrance.
A Note On Flash Photography
Flash photography is distracting to musicians on stage to perform, and often washes out the colors in your pictures. So, please use no flash, and your pictures will look better for it.
Regarding Professional Photography At Shows
Can I bring a professional-grade DSLR camera to shoot for my website/blog, or magazine? Or can I put really great pics up on my Facebook page? No, not without permission from the band's management, or agent(s). Please contact us via messaging on our Facebook page at least one week before the show to arrange for this.
I play in what could potentially be your third favorite band. How can we play at Lost on Main? Please don't send us a promo package in the mail. Save a stamp and a tree, and please save us from clutter!
